Josh is home!

Josh was discharged at around noon today. They took out his drainage tube this morning and he says he's a lot more comfortable now, but still in pain from the incision, of course. No staples or stitches this time, just this tape stuff that's supposed to fall off on its own after awhile. We'll see how that goes. Anyway, Josh is very glad to be home, and Stanley is elated to have his favorite lap back. I'll be going back to work tomorrow and Josh's mom will be staying for a couple days. Thanks to all our visitors in the hospital: Father Charles, Deacon Lou and Deb Linam who sat with us during the surgery; Josh's cousins Kim, Jason, Chris, Kathy and their son Sam; Bryan and Neal. It's so nice to have people to chat with to take your mind off the hospital for awhile. Thanks again to everyone who's called, texted, sent cards, etc. We feel loved.

Peace,
Kimberly

Such great news ! And being home is the best medicine. So glad things are going well, and our prayers were answered. And hope Sam gave you both one of those very special smiles !

Josh,

I am so glad all went well and that you quickly came home. I am a huge "Rocky" fan, and you are just as much of a fighter than he is. Why am I speaking like he is real? Anyway, my thoughts and prayers for you and Kimberly continue.

There is a lot that can be said about the power of prayer. We have so many to pray for lately. The same day you were having surgery our Boy Scout Leader was having the same surgery but on the opposite end of the right lung. He is a real fighter like you Josh and he has the love and support of a wonderful wife as well. You Guys are so loved by all! We love you and are so thankful to God!
