I had a CT scan on Thursday and they took a closer look at my sinuses. I heard from my doctor today and he is going to refer me to an ENT doctor to have a closer look and do a possible biopsy. I asked my doctor if he thought it was metastasis and he was still hesitant in his assessment. He, again, mentioned that that was very rare and that he would lean toward a bacterial infection or fungal infection. Although, he did say that we needed to be vigilant and take a look. On the bright side, I will not have to complete my treatment scheduled for Monday. I am waiting for the doctor to call and tell me what the plan is for my biopsy.
I will post as soon as I find out when everything is scheduled. Please keep your fingers crossed for me.
