At Least It Will Be Football Season

Hello everyone!

I just got back from my doctor's appointment. Everything looked good on my lab work. All functions are normal and counts are within range. The bad news is that chemotherapy will last for four months starting in mid-September. That is a long time to think about. I will be on the same medicine, which is good since I tolerated it alright, but I am still down about how long it will last.

On another note, I am having the doctors take a closer look at my sinuses. There had been a suspicious spot there on the PET scan earlier this year and then we started chemo with Avastin. Then I got the blood clot which put me on blood thinners. Then I started hemorrhaging from my nose and they removed the blood thinner. Then the bleeding decreased but continued from my left nostril when I blew my nose. They suspected that it was due to blood clots from the Avastin. Although the bleeding has decreased tremendously from before it is still present. So I asked them to take a closer look on my next CT-scan to see if there is anything that looks suspicious. Keep your fingers crossed that it is just some blood clotting from the Avastin.

Peace,
Josh
