Unlawful To Cut Corners

So, I was driving down the road home from Tuscaloosa and had my bibliography on my mind. I have started back to completing this seemingly unending task recently. It had been a good solid five months since I last did some damage to my pile of literature I am reviewing. Just like any good American, I started to think of possible ways to make the process easier. Basically, these were rationalizations about how I could weasel my way out of doing all of what I had begun. Then I pass this sign on the highway and decided to pull over and take a picture.



That's right folks. No cutting corners on this son-of-a-bitch project. I have to suck it up that I have lost about six months of strong productivity. There is no getting away easy on this baby. Anyway...I thought it was a bit of synchronicity at play that seemed interesting.

Another important note to those people following along. After our long struggle with Blue Cross Blue Shield, they have started paying their claims. We have documentation of sending them their requested form four times, and finally they admitted receiving it (assholes). It is a great relief to know that, for now, that issue is resolved.

Two weeks from tomorrow is the CT-Scan...anxiety central over here!!!
