BEACH!!
Hello Everyone!
Kimberly and I just returned from Fort Morgan, AL where we enjoyed the beach with our good friends Jeff & Jamie and their kids, Sophia and Wesley. We were also joined by some of their extended families throughout our stay. We were located about a mile from Fort Morgan and the house was right on the beach. The weather was perfect the whole time we were there. We got no rain and there was hardly ever any cloud cover. Could not have asked for more. We got some good R&R in time for my surgery and recovery.
While we were there we did many fun things. We ate well, spent many hours basking in the sun, swimming in the gulf, riding go-karts, playing mini-golf, and crab watching at night. Also, Kimberly got her first ferry ride on our way there and then got another on the way back. I was able to spend about 5-6 hours working on my sand castle empire for two days (see video). The first day Sophia and I built the "Empire of the Turtle" which was eroded by the next day. The second day we all pitched in for the remainder of the castle empire. By day two the "Empire of the Turtle" had lost its front wall from beach erosion from the night before so it became the ruins of the castle empire. It was all located on a cliff of beach so it ended up being pretty cool. I finished it off with some roads and forests, a terraced gorge, as well as, a sea shell barrier. I got many lookers throughout the day who stopped by to enjoy the work, but during the night of day two someone came by and destroyed the masterpiece which was non-existent on morning three.
Peace,
Josh

Josh,
We are so sorry to hear about the loss of your grandmother.
The Mortimers
Is this Josh singing and playing? Did he write this song? This is a great song...the video could be a sermon...most definitely...and more.
I love ya'll.
Mom
No Mom, that's Jimi Hendrix... I'm sure Josh is flattered though. :)
That's a SWEET castle/empire.....and a perfect location on that cliff!!! I always want to build something like this but usually just end up with a hole. You should teach classes on how to do that. Glad you had a good time, talk with you soon,
Wade
